PULP HEROES
From Wizard #72 - "DC's '97 'Pulp Heroes' annuals fared pretty well (with Superman's leading the pack), thanks to the bulk of [them] being set in current continuity for the first time in years. The theme was interesting, and even though most of today's readers only know 'pulp' as a juice ingredient, the books' success proves the theme was marketable."
